Xenical.

Xenical (orlistat) has been specially designed for the needs of obese patients who are unable to lose weight using any other methods. However, Xenical is not going to help you unless you eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly. You must not take this medicine if you have gallbladder problems or if you have a history of an allergic reaction to orlistat as it may not be as efficient for you as you expect. Before starting the treatment you will need to tell your health care provider if you have any health issues that may affect the dose and your treatment in general. The following medical conditions may be important to mention: eating disorders, a history of gallstones, liver disease, type 1 or type 2 diabetes, or underactive thyroid. Xenical is not expected to do any harm to an unborn baby if taken by a pregnant mother. However, it’s a good idea to discuss everything with you health care provider if you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding. Unless otherwise told by your health care provider make sure you take Xenical during a meal or one hour after it, three times daily. Your meal must contain some fat, but no more than 30 percent of the meal. If your meal does not contain any fat, you can skip your dose of Xenical.
